Life in jobless hell

It has been a year since I last worked and as I sit here today in my boyfriends flat somewhere in south London, watching a recording of the master chef final and thinking wow someone chased their dreams and achieved it. I think to myself wow, where did it all go wrong, how did I go from studying at University, to working in Canary wharf, getting a project mgt qualification, thinking that I was on my way...(the big leagues) to THIS!!!...Absolute joblessness, empty bank account and total boredom...WHAT WENT WRONG?
Constantly applying for jobs only to get rejected...going to agencies, getting told don't worry...or some actually refusing to register you (because you've been out of work for more than 6 months)..what a bunch of rubbish...
Things are so bad that i even apply to super markets, care jobs and STILL don't have a job...I beginning to think that there is some kind of conspiracy...going on, when employers see my name ( it is a long and some what complicated last name, I must admit...oh the years at school of every teacher getting tongue tied when they have to take the register and comes across my name for the very first time...oh the good times!) they just don't seem interested. Some tell you that you are over qualified, some tell u you are under qualified, there just seems to be no winning for me!
I cannot believe my ears when on TV they say "things are picking up, unemployment rate is falling" 'Utter nonsense' from my point of view anyway....and those at the voluntary place I was volunteering at, some of which have been made redundant twice within the space of a year.

Tell me how things are getting better?...cos I need to know.
